Chris is the founder and principal of Natural Bridges Financial Advisors. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from Westminster College. Chris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior to starting his own firm in 2008, Chris worked at a leading Silicon Valley wealth management firm. He is currently an instructor at the UCSC Extension Silicon Valley Personal Financial Planning Department. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Silicon Valley Financial Planning Association. As a former professional soccer player, Chris is one of the founders of the Santa Cruz County FC Revolution, a non-profit premier youth soccer club working with underserved children in Santa Cruz County.
Sharon is the newest member of the Natural Bridges team. She holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MS in Computer Science from the University of California at Davis. Sharon is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®). Prior to joining Natural Bridges, Sharon worked as a senior wealth manager at a leading Silicon Valley wealth management firm. She is a Social Security expert and has spoken about Social Security planning at local, regional, and national financial planning meetings. She was one of the first financial planners elected to membership in the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI). When not working Sharon enjoys (very) long walks and recently moved to from Capitola to Watsonville in order to make room for more dogs in her life.
Anabel is a Watsonville native and is driven by a desire to give back to her community. She is a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, majoring in Economics. Anabel was presented with the Cesar Chavez award from the City of Watsonville in recognition of her community service. She served as Vice Mayor and as Mayor for the Youth City Council in Watsonville, and participated in the Violence Prevention Task Force for Santa Cruz County. She has volunteered at the United Way of Monterey County, assisting low-income families with preparing their taxes, and with the Senior Analyst for the City of Watsonville, helping minority-owned businesses with marketing and financial services. In addition to her studies and volunteerism, Anabel served as a program manager for a local non-profit who help children with cancer and life-threatening illnesses. In order to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and support their families in the challenges they face.
